We work on projects that improve people’s lives.

Each project is as unique as the people, programs, organizations, and communities involved. Projects vary in duration and complexity, from short-term place-based strategy development to long-term collective action initiatives. Projects reflect one or more service themes and may include methods and tools from all parts of our practice.

The Root Cause team brings topical expertise in health and well-being, education and youth development, and economic security. We offer coaching, facilitation, and hands-on implementation support to project partners, and we develop research, case studies, and tools based on the needs of our partners.
