Dorchester County First Steps

Dorchester County First Steps, as a local partnership of South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness (SCFS), is both a nonprofit and state agency. SCFS is the only dedicated comprehensive early childhood agency in South Carolina focused on getting children ready for school and life success. Dorchester County First Steps offers a range of programs, including Parents as Teachers, Countdown to Kindergarten, Child Care Training, Child Care Scholarships, Parent Child Home, Early Identification & Referral, and First Steps 4K.
