Reyada joined Root Cause in 2018. In her role, Reyada supports senior consultants and project managers throughout all stages of client service delivery; conducts research and data analysis to inform projects; and provides coordination and project management support.
Having immigrated to the United States as a refugee, Reyada has long been passionate about understanding and dismantling the structures that impede the progress of socially marginalized and disenfranchised groups. Her eagerness to serve underprivileged and underserved communities has led her to a variety of opportunities within the nonprofit sector. As a Casework Assistant intern for the International Rescue Committee, she worked alongside case managers to secure low-income housing for newly resettled refugee families. She also served as a Political Affairs intern for The Borgen Project, during which she used her knowledge and understanding of global poverty to mobilize constituents and urge Congressional leaders to support key poverty reduction legislation.
Reyada holds a B.A. in Government & Legal Studies and Hispanic Studies, with a minor in Sociology, from Bowdoin College.
